Sono stato incaricato di realizzare anche quest'anno le strip a fumetti per le confezioni delle merende Mr. Day distribuite per qualche mese (autunno/inverno) in tutti i grandi magazzini e supermercati: è stato un gran piacere, buona merenda a tutti!

Vi posto lo studio di un paio di illustrazioni realizzate per l'House Organ della onlus Bimbo Tu, una società che aiuta materialmente famiglie con bambini di età infantile con gravi problemi disfunzionali e cerebrali. E' stato un vero piacere. A presto.

I recently completed my second collaboration with the French publisher Petit à Petit for the collective work French-Italian Rouen Volume 2. Below a couple pages of the story I drew. Spot tv Campionato di calcio Europeo - Sketches for football spot tv

Il campionato Europeo di calcio è terminato da tempo. Posso scrivere e postare, nessuno me ne vorrà. Vi posto alcuni sketches per uno spot legato al mondo del calcio proposto ad una casa automobilistica italiana. Il progetto purtroppo non è andato a buon fine, ma il risultato non mi dispiaceva. A presto.

The European Football Championship has ended. I can write and post, nobody hurt me. Some sketches proposed to a Italian auto producer tied to football. The project unfortunately has not been successful, but the result feel pretty. See you soon.

Direi che il tempo per postare qualcosa è maturo. Tempo, si. Manca giusto quello. Il lavoro non da tregua (per fortuna) e il mio spazio di "libero sfogo" è ridotto all'osso. Gli Usa, di nuovo la Francia, passando per Roma capitale... lavorativamente è un periodo di grande soddisfazione. A breve qualche news. Ma sono solo mie divagazioni a cui tu, navigatore occasionale, non sei interessato.  Di seguito alcuni visual di campagna fatti qualche tempo fa per una casa faraceutica.
Per chi fosse arrivato fino a qui nella lettura: è stata scelta l'ultima versione ;)

It's time to post something. Time, yeah. I've missing just that. The work is relentless (thankfully) and my space "free rein" is very little. The US, back to France, passing through capital Rome... is a period of great satisfaction. Soon some news. But this are just my ramblings that to you, occasional navigator, don't interest. Here are some visual campaign made some time ago for a faraceutic house.

La vignetta si commenta da sola.
Nonostante il Signor B. sia stato messo alla porta dalla giustizia, è riuscito a rientrare dalla finestra, grazie anche al buon RenziE e a questi politicanti tutti. E con il bene placito dei cittadini che li lasciano dove sono... mi sembrano tutti ZombiE. Momenti di libero sfogo.

The strip speaks for itself. Although Mister B. was shown the door by the judges, has managed to fall in from the window, thanks to the good Renzi(e) and all these politicians. And with the good citizens of the people that leave them where they are. Moments of free rein.

ROUEN Volume 1 (Bande Dessinée) - ROUEN TPB 1 French Comic Book

Ho concluso da poco la mia prima collaborazione con la Casa editrice francese Editions Petit à Petit: ho partecipato al primo volume collettivo internazionale italo/francese a fumetti. Progetto composto da 5 volumi di 54 pagine ciascuno, verrà raccontata la storia della città di Rouen (i volumi sono corredati da una ricchissima documentazione storico/fotografica). E' partito il crowdfunding per questo corposo progetto. Altre informazioni le trovate qui e qui.

I recently completed my first collaboration with the French publishing Editions Petit à Petit: I participated in an international TPB comic (collective Italian/French). Project involves of 5 volumes,54 pages each, it will be told the history of the Rouen city (volumes are accompanied by a rich historical documentation and photos). It 'started the crowdfunding for this project full-bodied. More information can be found here and here.

Okay, i tempi sono maturi, posso parlarne tranquillamente.
Ho avuto il piacere di realizzare alcune strip a fumetti per il personaggio di Mister Day! Fino a fine novembre troverete in tutti i supermercati d'Italia il mio lavoro. Nel restyling della collezione tanti giochi per i vostri bimbi, cosa aspettate a riempirvi la dispensa? Attenzione: le strisce da collezionare sono quattro :)

Per questo anno il format della comunicazione del Centro Commerciale CentroNova è affidato alle illustrazioni del sottoscritto. Partendo da una base disegnata a matita, ritraccio in vettoriale l'illustrazione che postproduco con photoshop. Una bella soddisfazione: siete pronti a fare la spesa?

Questa è un'illustrazione che ho fatto per conto della casa editrice EDB per il libro "Non guardavi e ti ho capita" di Nicoletta Ferrari: una toccante storia fra un'educatrice ed una bambina autistica. Posso dire che è stato un piacere.

Max Weber sta arrivando! - Max Weber is coming!

Una tavola a fumetti comporta molto lavoro: documentazione relativa a ciò che si vuole visualizzare, studio dell'ambiente e delle inquadrature, composizione della pagina, bianchi e neri, colori e balloon... E' un lavoro complesso che richiede tempo e dedizione.
Sono tornato a disegnare grazie al maestro Giuseppe Pica, il quale mi ha coinvolto in un corposo progetto che sta vedendo lentamente la luce.
Di seguito un paio di tavole in lavorazione: matite e chine del sottoscritto, testi  e colori del maestro succitato.

Make comic strips is a big job: documentation for what you want to view, study of the shots, page composition, blacks and whites, colors and balloon ... It 'a complex task that requires time and dedication.
I came back to draw with the master Giuseppe Pica, who got me involved in a substantial project that slowly seeing the light.
Below a preview of tables: pencils and inks of the undersigned, text and colors of the master.
