Omaggio a Dylan... the revenge!

Un altro post per Dylan Dog: una splash page di qualche anno fà, un disegno che mi è costato molto lavoro. Matite rifatte più volte, inchiostrazione mai definitiva, da qualche parte ho anche una versione a colori... Questa è una libera reinterpretazione di una delle copertine dell'indagatore dell'incubo, il numero 54 "Delirium". Un semplice esercizio di stile, non voglio di certo paragonarla alla bellissima copertina del Maestro Angelo Stano :)

A Dylan Dog splash page made few years ago, that cost me a lot of work: pencils remade several times, never final inking, somewhere I also have a color version ... This is a free reinterpretation of a cover of the nightmare investigator, the number 54 "Delirium". A simple exercise in style, I do not compare with the beautiful cover of the "Maestro" Angelo Stano :)

Un eroe se n'è andato: uno sciamano, un personaggio che con le sue storie mi ha accompagnato per molti anni. Nel mentre sono successe tante cose: nel mentre la vita.
Il re è morto, viva il re. Attendo speranzoso il nuovo monarca, il nuovo erede.

Di zombie e di indagatori

Questa illustrazione libera è un pò datata, ma l'atmosfera che si respira mi è sempre piaciuta. Costruire un set di personaggi che interagiscono fra loro, studiarne le giuste luci e ombre è un lavoro molto lungo, e chi disegna sa di cosa sto parlando: il risultato a volte ne vale la pena.

This free illustration is a bit dated, but the atmosphere I always liked it. Building a set of characters and study the right lights and shadows is a job very long, and who knows what I'm talking about drawing: the result sometimes it's worth it.
